“[5th US Court of Appeals Judge Edith] Jones is accused of saying that certain “racial groups like African-Americans and Hispanics are predisposed to crime,” and are “prone to commit acts of violence” and be involved in more violent and “heinous” crimes than people of other ethnicities.”
If you grow up or live in New Orleans longer than the time it takes Yankee tourists to prove that Northerners can’t hold their liquor and that their women are nasty, you learn a lot. One thing you learn with zero room for doubt is that “certain ‘racial groups like African-Americans and Hispanics are predisposed to crime.”‘
I imagine that if you sat on an appeals court in the 5th District, that might become glaringly obvious from a statistical standpoint. Actually, it’s pretty obvious from a statistical standpoint even if you don’t have a parade of orange-jumpsuited blacks lying through their teeth to your face every day for most of your career.
Some helpful reports (even the ones that Eric Holder has had taken down or hidden) are available:
“In 2005, offending rates for black [murderers] were more than 7 times higher than the rates for whites.” (p. 58)
From page 63:
Now, I know what you’re thinking. Hey! No Hispanics! The reason for that is that the BJS lumps Hispanics in as WHITE. So that artificially inflates the number and percentage of Caucasians committing crime. “Gang related” gives this away to a thinking person. 54.3% of the “gang related” murderers are White, according to the chart above.
Do you honestly believe that 54.3% of the bullet-spraying gang members in the US are White? Of course you don’t. You’re not an idiot. So, the chart above gives a HINT of how violent Blacks and Hispanics are compared to Real, European-Descendant, Blue-Eyed White people while managing to muddy the waters.
So. Looks like Judge Edith will have to hear some whining for telling the truth. My money says she has the gumption not to resign.
