Madame LePen is in a bit of trouble for making a beautifully a propos comparison: she compares the occupation of France by the Muslims with the occupation of France by Fascists.
“For those who like to talk about World War II, to talk about occupation, we could talk about, for once, the occupation of our territory,” said Le Pen.
“There are no armoured vehicles, no soldiers, but it is an occupation all the same and it weighs on people.”
Is it ridiculously melodramatic and overstated? Sure. But isn’t every statement ever made by the left-wing race hustlers sowing division in the world just as bad if not worse?
Actually, this development may be just the kind of shot in the arm her movement needs, and the timing might be important.
Let’s see what happens to the Front National when its leader faces thoughtcrime charges. It can go one of two ways:
1. It cowers her followers into quieting down.
2. It pisses more people off and makes her a bigger draw.
At THIS particular point in history, I’m betting on the second possibility.
