Hometown Hijinks

The Faubourg Marigny is a “mixed” neighborhood on the edge of the French Quarter, home to a fun mixture of feral thugs and transplant Yankee hipsters who believe what they see on TV.

The victim in this case just appears to be a White man in a very wrong place at a very wrong time. Predictable results.

Read my “Whitey Survival Guide” and see if you can figure out what the victim did to invite his WELCOME TO DIVERSITY.

I just checked CNN, by the way. Not mentioned. Imagine for a second this was three White teens walking around Portland doing this. Would the media be so silent?

  1. Reblogged this on murderbymedia and commented:
I’m thinking of a word, seven letters, starts with ‘n’….

  2. Richard says:

Well I read the WSG (fantastic by the way), but I’m not sure what answer you are looking for.

He shouldn’t have been in the neighborhood apparently (I will take your word for it as to its nature), and certainly not alone and at the time of day.

He might have been better off running after the initial blow instead of turning to face his attacker(s)…perhaps by then he was disoriented so it’s hard to know what his thoughts were (“Hey bro, I’m an Obama Voter who likes Drake, don’t hit me!”).

Are there other things? It would actually be interesting to do a series of these with various dos and don’ts (presumably mostly don’ts) as an educational tool.

    • Good idea. Don’t: walk alone at 3:30am in the Marigny. Don’t: be drunk (which he probably was). Don’t: have earbuds in (he doesn’t seem to hear them come up behind him.) Don’t: be unarmed.
